Are you ready for the departure brief?
I will be the pilot flying
Type of Takeoff (Standard Takeoff/High-Alt-Takeoff...)
Review der Departure (Which SID in Use, Specialities)
We will use Flaps x for Takeoff
RW condition is dry/wet/contaminated
Anti ice will (not) be required
Engine Bleeds will be on/off
From
0-100 knots, for any malfunction i call reject and confirm autobrakes
operable. If autobrakes not operable i will apply maximum manual
braking and maximum synmetric reverse thrust and we will come to a
full stop on the Runway.
After
the full stop on the Runway we will take decisions over further
actions.
From 100knots to V1 i will only stop for the following three reasons: Engine fire, Engine failure or a Takeoff configuration warning horn.
At and above v1 we will continue into the air, the only actions for you until 400 feet (AFE) are to silence any alarm bells and confirm failures.
Above 400 feet i will call for failure action drills as required and you will perform memory items.
At x feet (safe atitude) i will call for alt hold, we will retract the flaps on schedule and work the relevant checklist.
Above maximum landing weight we will make a decision on wether we will perform an overweight landing as the situation requires.
If we have a wheel well, engine or wing fire i will stop the plane so that the flames will be downwind and we will evacuate via the upwind side.
On cargo fire, i want you to ensure that the emergency services do not open the cargo holds until evacuation completed
Any questions? - (no)
