Contact the ground crew for pushback / engine start
Just prior to engine start, PA:
"CABIN CREW, ARM SLIDES"
Announce the start sequence: "START SEQUENCE IS 2 THEN 1"
Monitor N1, N2, EGT, fuel flow and oil pressure for normal indications
When the engine is stable, start the other engine
Call “START ENGINE (1 or 2 according to Procedure)”
Wait for FO to be ready to set Takeoff Flaps
Call Flaps as needed
for Takeoff
CWP: Call "Leave Flaps Up, Flap movement check"
Flap movement check (PNF)
When PNF Calls "Flaps 40, green light"
Call: "Flaps up"
When Flaps up, Call: "Flap movement check complete"
Check flight controls
Call "Before
